Extended Family Remix
As we've done with Christmas past, we had a day of extended family. We haven't been able to see my Dad's family in awhile, and that mainly is because my schedule is so hectic. But we had the pleasure of having some of Mom's family over on the 26th. Another round of gifts and another round of Mom's really good holiday meal. Have I told you how much I love her whipped potatoes??? I need to learn how to cook.
It was good to see my aunt, cousins and other family members. We typically only see them once a year, which certainly isn't enough. I suppose we grow older and further apart, but life is just that way sometimes. Regardless, it was nice hanging out with them and being around family. We are all unique, that is for sure. But that is what makes us a family.
