Dear Lord man, could Monday Night Raw get any worse? I'm really disappointed in the product WWE is putting out on tv every week. Yeah, I know we aren't talking academy award winning performances here, but even the most general wrestling fan has standards ... oh it's true, it's DAMN true.
Last weekend was pretty busy. I didn't go out either night ... now you KNOW I had to be tired to do that. Had an early wake up on Saturday for our 1 pm game vs. Kent State. Ugly game, but we found a way to win. Then I made my DeKalb debut on the mic ... no, not as Jay Lowe, Rockstar, as many of you know me ... but Jay Lowe, Public Announce Star. Now, in all honesty I could never even hold a candle to my boy Paul Mayer. He is the king. Well on his way to being "the voice of the (insert pro team here)." But i gave it my best shot. Aside from mispronouncing a few names (even one our own), found a way to fudge through it. Hope I don't have to do it again, but I am a "company man."
Going to look at 3 apartments tonight. I've been staying at my with my boss, and I really am grateful for her allowing me to stay there. I'm just getting annoyed with living out of boxes. So hopefully one of these places will work out. I could stand to wait a little longer, but might as well look at what is available.
So I get my second set of visitors here in a couple of weeks. Those kooky Blixt sisters, Alison and Katie, will be up in Illinois visiting family. They are supposedly stoping by here to see me. We shall see ... with that said, there is an OPEN invite to any of you who want to visit.
So I head to Muncie, IN (home of one HOT Miss Ashley Fisher) this weekend for our football game versus Ball State. Should be a good time. Planning on stopping and seeing my boys Tom Jacobs and Ty Halpin on the way back to DeKalb Saturday night. Hopefully I'll have reason to celebrate.
Anyway, off to check out those apartments. Hope all is well where you are. Drop some emails if you get bored! I'm always looking for something interesting to talk about on this web page.
